q
Web
access transfers the traffic count information from each store to the WEB
server.
q
Transferring
the information eliminates the need to poll each store and pull back daily files
for nightly traffic count processing.
q
In
addition, the hourly counts are made available through out the day via the Web
server to those who have been assigned a user name and
password.
q
Traffic
Count Information can be viewed on the Web for all stores, by store, by state
and/or by city, region and profit center.
q
Traffic
Count Information is still stored on the local computer, at each store, for
local access as well.
q
Upload
schedule is setup in the Windows Task Scheduler, “behind the scenes”,
therefore requires no intervention or access by local store employees.
q
System
defaults to transfer store traffic counts hourly.
q
System
can be configured to upload less frequently if desired.
q
Each
scheduled transmission transfers a 2K block of data. For most networks this is
an insignificant amount of data and thus has no affect on bandwidth.
q
Data
transfer supports 128bit encryption which blocks hackers and to
“sniff” out packets.
q
Data
transfer rate supports up to OC3 burst.
q Access to the data from the WEB server is allowed only with a secured user login and password, identical to banking on line.
q
Traffic
Count Information can be viewed for all stores or by store, by state and/or by
city.
q
Web
Server is monitored 24hrs, 7 days a week.
q
All user
activity is logged (FTP, Sequel Server, Web Server) therefore if an issue should
arise regarding a question of access, then research of the activity logs can be
done to verify history of account activity.
q
If a
hacker is detected, a hack alert is published and the hacker is then blocked
through the Web Server firewall.
q
The
Firewall on the Web Server blocks hackers and non authorized users and adds an
extra layer of security on all inbound/outbound traffic.
q
Data is
only accessible with a valid user login and password. These are case sensitive
and are a combination of alpha/numeric data. If numerous attempts are made to
access Web data and login/password fail, then a lock will be put on that account
until the situation is researched and the account reset.
q
Data
stored on the Web is backed up on a regular maintenance schedule for safe
keeping.
o
Sequel
Server database is backed up nightly.
o
Web
Server is backed up weekly (front end program).
