This will require TRAXsales updates 11.5 or higher and a pre – established internet connection. If you don’t know which version you are currently on, just go to Help up on the menu bar and About… and this will tell you which version of Trax you are running. If it isn’t 11.5 or better please call Mike at 888-646-5462.
Once you are updated to 11.5 or better and have established an internet connection you will need to open up Traffic Trax and go to File at the top and then properties. This will bring you into the Trax properties screen.

Make sure to check the box labeled Web Enable Traffic Trax
and Global. Once you have done this
hit the OK button. Next you need to
go to Administration at the top of the Traffic Trax screen on the menu bar and
then Show Room…and this is where you will fill out all of the showroom
information such as Name, Address, etc.
Then you will need to select the [Edit Dealer / Showroom
ID] button. This will enable
you to type in your Dealer ID, Dealer Name, and Showroom ID. Your Dealer ID will be any 4 digit number you want and the
Dealer name will be your company name. You
should only change the Showroom ID if you have more than 1 location with the
same Showroom ID. After all the
information is complete and correct select [Save].
When finished saving it is time to update the web.
This is done by selecting the [Update Web] button.
NOTE: This could take several minutes and/or up to an hour to
finish. Keep in mind that this is
the initial upload. After this they
will only load the most recent up to date information. After everything is set up in the showroom screen it’s time
for the final step. You will need
to set up the Task Scheduler to run periodically behind the scenes.
So go to your Start button and select Programs then Accessories then
System Tools and then Scheduled Tasks.
Once you are in the Task Scheduler go to Add Scheduled
Task. This will open up the Task
wizard. Select the [next] button
and then [Browse] to C:\Program Files\TRAXsales\Ttload.exe.
You want to highlight the TTload.exe and select open.
Then select Daily from the menu and then [Next] and set the
Start Time to 9:15 A.M. and perform this task every day [Next].
This will prompt you to enter a username and password.
Leave the username the way it already appears and do not use a password
leave these fields blank [Next]. Now
select the check box open advanced properties when I click finish.
Then select [Finish].
Then in the Advanced Schedule Options be sure to check the check box next to Repeat task and you want to repeat task every 2 hours . In the Duration select 24 hrs. If you have any questions please give us a call at 888-646-5462.
