TRAXsales Export

 

Configuration 

 

TRAXsales has the ability to export sale information in a specified order to a specified location for importing to your business software.  The configuration page is in the same location as the import configuration  < Maintenance > < Customer / Editing > < Customer Import / Export >.  Select the recommended sequence of check boxes as shown below.  You may choose a different sequence.  Selecting save will bring the checks all together.  Edit the corresponding numbers for the correct numerical sequence and select save.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Setup the Import Directory.  Select < Browse > locate the TRAX import_export directory in the C: drive and open it.  Highlight the Target.txt file and select < Open >.  This points the import function to this location. 

 

 

The path C:\TRAXimport_export will appear in the Import Directory field.  Select > File > Save.  The configuration page to export information from your TRAXsales software.  

    

Select > Maintenance > File > Properties > Upboard Tab > and place a check in the box to the right of the line > Interface with Business Systems >.  The configuration is now complete.

 

 A file will appear in the C:\TRAXimport_export directory as shown below ready for you to import.

 

    

 

Note:  The file Target.txt contains no information and is used only as a location identifier to  

           point the software to the designated location.
